All Set For Saturday Boxing Explosion
March 1, 2007

(MAR 1) This Saturday, March 3rd, will be a big day for boxing in Kenya where four title fights will be held on the same card at the prestigious Grand Regency Hotel IN Nairobi
City.

The current African Boxing Union Super bantamweight
Champion Sande Otieno (11-0),  will face against
Ghanaian Wilson Lanquawe for the WBC Super bantamweight International title. Otieno is one of Kenya's most  entertaining boxer and the south paw is expected to
dazzle his fans like he did on December 2nd, when he
won the African title against Ugandan Mohamed Kizito.

On the same card Kenyan Twalib Mubiru will get a
chance to redeem himself against his compatriot, the
UBO Bantamweight Champion Nick Otieno. The two fought
for the same title in a close contest on December 12, 2006.

Also on the card is WBB Light welterweight Nasser
Athuman who is expected to defend his title against
Thailands Somchai Nakbalee,  while a female title fight
will also be on between Kenya's Zarika Njeri and
Galina Koleva Ivanova of Bulgaria Bantamweight fight.

All opponents are already in Nairobi and WBC officials. Weigh-in is on the 2nd at the Grand Regency Hotel, Nairobi

The fights are a result of an unprecedented cooperation
between three local promoters. Osaga Promotions hosts
the event while Samdove Promotions secured the WBC
Sanction for the Superbantamweight title. Jabjab
Promotions are the minders of Sande Otieno and Nick
Otieno.   Release: Edward Sande
