(DEC 3) On November 30th, Mariem
Brakache wrote into WBAN about not her allegation that promoter Boxu
Potts of Trinidad and Tobago has "Breached a contract."
Yesterday, we received a response from promoter Boxu Potts in
regards to this contract. He told WBAN the following:
"I contacted Ms. Mariem Brakache since
in early October through Ms. Diana Rodriguez, Ms. Brakache never
responded or retuned to me a signed contract, which indicated she
was not interested in the said fight. She never called although she
has my telephone number.
When Ms. Brakache recognised that Ms. Lisa Holewyne was in the
equation she then email me, by that time I had committed to Ms.
Holewyne, who displayed good business ethics by promptly signing and
returning a signed fight contract.
Thereafter Ms. Brakache contacted me , by way of email, asking for
money which in my opinion she had not work for or had committed
herself by way of returning a signed contract.
This, I think, was very unethical of Ms. Brakache. I would advise
Ms. Brakache to stop bad mouthing me, when it is was her inability
to communicate, which had caused her to be out of the fight in the
first place.
I end this letter by saying, I hold no animosity against Ms. Mariem
Brakache and if she wants to work with me in the future I have no
problem."
