Friday night at the Roxy in Boston,
Tanzee Daniel won a unanimous decision over Hamden, Connecticut,
native Angie Brooks. Using her powerful body punching and straight
left hand, Daniel was able to bully her game opponent around the
ring en route to the lopsided victory. After the fight, WBAN
was able to catch up with Tanzee to get her thoughts on the fight
and her future in the ring.
DH: What were your thoughts on the fight?
TD: I wanted to come out and fight a smart, relaxed fight, and have
some fun, and I think I did that. I've got a lot of things I have to
work on, but I'm happy.
DH: You said you wanted to put on a defensive masterpiece. That was
more of a slugfest, don't you think?
TD: Yeah, it was my first fight, and I was a bit nervous, but I'm
going to get better.
DH: Who do you want next?
TD: Anybody. I feel ready for anybody.
