(NOV 17) On November 24, 2006, Hamden,
Connecticut's Angela Brooks and Tanzee Daniel, 5'8",
of Queens, New York will be making their pro debut at the Roxy, in
Boston, Mass. This boxing event is on a Telefutura card. The
two will be fighting at four rounds in the cruiserweight division.
Daniel compiled an extensive amateur record of 30-7 amateur bouts,
and six championship belts.
In the main event, Elvin Ayala (16-0, 7 KOs) will now take on
Portland, Oregon's David Banks (11-1-1, 2 KOs). Ayala's originally
slated opponent, Freddy Cuevas, was forced to withdraw from the
fight due to an injury he sustained, while training last week.
The co-main, Castulo Gonzalez (7-2, 3 KOs) will face Puerto
Rico's Priest Smalls (18-11-1, 6 KOs) in an eight-round
featherweight bout.
