Whilst not quite as calamitous
perhaps as Napoleon's, Polish lightweight Dorota Kosatka's
comeback proved rather less happier than that of Noriega, when
she confronted undefeated 26-year-old Ramona Kühne of
Großziethen in Berlin on Saturday evening. Outclassed and
outlasted, the Pole was stricken by barrage of headshots in the
last of the six scheduled rounds as the German sought to
underline her superiority with a third consecutive victory
inside the time limit. Kosatka fell, but her fall was broken by
the ropes, and referee Rene Freyer stopped the fight instantly
to save her from further and unnecessary punishment.
