(SEPT 25) On Saturday night, at the
Dodge Arena, in Hidalgo, Texas on the untelevised segment of HBO
Boxing after Dark, Vanessa Juarez, 18 years old, Texas, won her
fourth straight professional bout, making her 4-0-0 (1KO), after
winning by a four-round unanimous decision over Amanda Knight, now
1-1-1, of Florida. Juarez and Knight fought on the undercard of
Jorge Arce.
Team Juarez told WBAN, "The crowd chanted her[Jaurez] last name
through her fight and Julio Cesar Chavez came to her dressing room
and gave her advise and Lennox Lewis stopped her after the fights
and complimented her and gave her some pointers said that he was
very impressed with her performance."
