Ina Menzer,
125¾, of Germany, and Leli Luz Florez, 125¼, produced a
very exiting and skillful fight. Both boxers went straight to
business after the opening bell, with plenty of powerful exchanges.
Ina Menzer is known for her punching power, but also Florez managed
to get the attention of Menzer, especially in the first 3 rounds.
Menzer was able to take over the fight from the 4th round due to
her better defence and her very good combinations. Florez remained a
threat throughout the fight and proved to have a very good chin and
the capability to keep up with the high pace of the fight. However,
she was trailing Menzer in scoring points throughout, and the 3
judges gave all rounds to Menzer. The scores were 100-90, 100-90,
and 100-89.

Anchorena, 114¾, did not have the boxing skills to pose any
threat for a very motivated Alesia Graf, 114¼, of
Germany. Anchorena was wide open, and Graf took full advantage and
punished her from the beginning of round one. Graf continued to
catch Anchorena with left jabs and follow up with powerfull rights
in round two. The referee stopped the fight 42 seconds into round
three, after Anchorena was caught with some very powerful blows on
the ropes, and failed to return any punches.
