The
writer Andrea Bacci, who just lately wrote a book about the life of
Angelo Jacopucci, the italian boxer who died almost 30 years ago
after a terrible match with the English Alan Minter, is writing a
biography about Italy's Stefania Bianchini., the WBC flyweight
champion.
Bacci and Bianchini
met up last weekend during the “Bancarella Sport 2006”, an important
literary prize organised every year in Italy, and Bacci has
collected a few hours of recordings about Bianchini life.
Furthermore, the boxer has confirmed her next title defense against
a chinese boxer, still unknown. The fight will take place in Italy
or in France on November 4th, the day of Bianchini’s
birthday.
