(JULY 12) Fight Night at the Tank returns to HP Pavilion on Thursday, July 20 at 7:30 p.m.  Headlining the card will be California Super Middleweight Champ and Fight Night at the Tank fan favorite Ricardo Cortes (18-1-1, 13 KO’s) who will be making his third appearance at the Tank in 2006. 

A native of San Jose, Cortes has established a large following of hometown fans at HP Pavilion.  This will be his twelfth appearance at the Tank in the past five years.  Cortes last fought at HP Pavilion as the featured fighter in the semi-main event on May 18, making quick work of opponent Keith Clevenger by scoring a second round KO.  Cortes will fight an opponent to be determined.

Also appearing on the card will be Eliza Olson (9-5-3, 2 KO’s) from Fresno, CA, who will be making her first appearance at Fight Night at the Tank, Arturo Quintero (14-4, 9 KO’s) of Las Vegas, NV who last fought at the Tank in April of 2005 when he earned a six-round majority decision over Pedro Mora and Teke Oruh (10-0-1, 5 KO’s) also of Las Vegas, NV.  Opponents for all three fighters will be announced shortly.  A fifth bout will be added.
