(JUNE 6) On June 23, 2006, the rematch between reigning WIBA
super bantam champion Jeannine Garside and former title
holder Lisa "Bad News" Brown will take place as A Ring of
Their Own presents the "Women of Mass Destruction" card at the
Shaw Conference Center, in Edmonton.
| Garside has been busy with
trainers Josh and Margaret Canty as they work toward extending
her perfect record to 6-0 and keeping the title when she faces
Brown in just two weeks. |

The reigning champ is almost as tight lipped about her
preparations as Brown was. "Training has been excellent,"
Garside stated. "When it comes to your training you do
EVERYTHING, everything you can to prepare. Because we expect
Lisa to have a vengeance in this fight, we are working as hard
as always."
The question of taking Lisa Brown lightly brings an emphatic
"NO!" from Garside who acknowledges her opponents skill and
promises the fight to be "action packed, and it will be a great
rematch." And- she says confidently, "I am looking forward to
defending MY title."
