open letter from Team Jelena Mrdjenovich, in regards to their title
fight that took place on May 20th, in Yellowknife, Canada.
They wrote the following:
"On behalf of Team Mrdjenovich, I would like to congratulate
Franchesca, George and Larry on their professional performance
in challenging for Jelena’s WBC title in Yellowknife NT.
Not only did Franchesca put on a solid performance in the ring she
was also a great ambassador for her country and female boxing while
she was in Yellowknife. We had absolutely no problems in dealing
with the Alcanter team, Franchesca and George assisted us greatly in
promoting the event. We welcome any team into Canada that has such a
positive attitude as Team Alcanter. Thank you Team Alcanter, you are
