Feathers Casino, in Canyonville, Oregon, Melissa "Huracan "
Hernandez will be fighting Kelsey "Road Warrior" Jeffries. Hernandez
is hoping to make an upset happen in this IFBA World Featherweight
title bout.
Hernandez told WBAN, “With a warrior like Jeffries in the ring, I
hope to only bring my best and show that skills are skills and not
records on paper. It's a huge move for me but you never know what's
going to happen---it’s boxing.”
Hernandez told WBAN that she is very appreciative for being given
the opportunity by Team Jeffries for giving her a chance. “Let the
best woman be crowned queen of the IFBA at Featherweight,” added
Hernandez.
