Conference Center in the heart of Historic Downtown, will be the site
for another edition of THE RIOT Professional Boxing Event. Two weeks
before the opening bell, only 500 tickets remain in the 1500 seat Serra
Ballroom. Ringside, reserved tables, and reserve seats remain at this

The fight card features 4 undefeated prospects, 2 local talents a
welterweight from Ghana, Africa and an exciting featherweight women's
bout.

"Of the dozens of shows we've produced over the years, this may be as
strong as we've ever put together" says promoter and matchmaker Jerry
Hoffman of Aptos, Ca. "The fight card is loaded with unbeaten prospects,
with a strong local and now International flavor. All the undefeated
fighters are matched very tough" states the owner of 12 Sports
Productions owner, who got into the business of Boxing as a ring
announcer in the 80"s while hosting a Sportstalk show at a Monterey
radio station. Hoffman has been promoting at least 2 pro boxing shows a
year since 1992 when he created the SHAKEDOWN IN QUAKETOWN series in
Santa Cruz. In 1996, the Riot at the Hyatt was born, and in July,
Hoffman moved the venue to the Downtown Monterey Conference Center.
First bout is 7:30pm Saturday, November 19th. Doors open at 6:30pm. |
