RPM Boxing Responds to Latest Article on Laila Ali
Source: RPM Boxing
September 9, 2005

(Waco, Texas September 6, 2005) – RPM Boxing said today that they noticed in a recent article on WBAN, written by David Avila, "Not Retiring, Just Reloading" that Laila Ali says she “sees two fighters worth fighting out there.” We all know, of course, that one of them is Ann Wolfe.

The article says that Laila refuses to fight without the right offer. RPM Boxing finds that very interesting because Ali was offered (by Prize Fight Promotions) the biggest payday she’s ever been offered of $500,000.00 and 75% of the Pay-per-view buys, but she turned it down.

RPM Boxing would like to ask Laila Ali just how much money would it take for her to step in the ring with Ann Wolfe. As RPM Boxing recalls, Laila said on LIVE television the night she fought Cassandra Geigger, that it was NOT about the money when asked why she turned down $500,000.00 to fight Ann.

Furthermore, Laila says that the fight would have to be co-promoted and not just Wolfe's promoter Brian Pardo. RPM Boxing would like to make it clear that Brian Pardo is Ann Wolfe's manager. Prize Fight Promotions is Ann's promoter.

Again, RPM Boxing SIMPLY has one question for Laila Ali... If you are not afraid of Ann Wolfe, then what will it take for you to FINALLY get in the ring with her?
