Ann Marie Saccurato
and Maureen "Moe" Shea on
New York Card
August 24, 2005(AUG 24) On Friday
August 26th at the Westchester County Center, Ann Marie Saccurato
of White Plains, NY, is scheduled to fight a six round bout against
Belinda Laracuente. The local and popular Saccurato has been
featured on all three bouts North East Promotions has staged at the
County Center.
Saccurato was the
first female to box at the venue when she defeated Victoria Cisneros via
unanimous decision in February of this year. The bout is scheduled
underneath the Joan Guzman vrs. Terdsak Jandaeng WBO featherweight title
eliminator and is being co-promoted by Sycuan Ringside Promotions.
Also scheduled on the card is the professional debut of Maureen "Moe"
Shea. The IONA College senior hailing out of the Bronx, NY received
national attention earlier in the year as the main sparring partner for
Hilary Swank as Swank prepared for the movie "Million Dollar Baby". Shea
is scheduled to face Ohio's Camille Casson. |
