A New Team in Ali's Corner

August 23, 2005(AUG 23) LOS ANGELES,
CA- World recognized female boxing champion, author, motivational
speaker, and Adidas spokes model star Laila Ali announced yesterday that
she has hired Harlan J. Werner and Damon Bingham of the sports marketing
and entertainment company, Sports Placement Service, Inc., to represent
her for all of her marketing endeavors both in and out of the boxing
ring as well as her boxing career.
As a boxer, Ali has amassed an undefeated 21-0 (18 KOs) record, winning
4 super middleweight titles and 1 light heavyweight title. Outside the
ring, Ali is an actor and model, appearing on numerous magazine covers
and feature articles from a variety of publications. Her multiple
talents now come under one umbrella with the SPS, Inc. group. Bingham
will act as Ali’s advisor for all of the day-to-day activities of her
boxing career and Harlan J. Werner will be handling all of her marketing
opportunities including but not limited to Ali’s endorsements,
motivational speaking, licensing, appearances, modeling, and T.V. and
theatrical career.
