(JULY 27) The fight has been confirmed---Stephanie "All Action" Dobbs
will face Kristina Belinzsky on September 3, 2005 in Budapest, Hungary. The
fight will be for the GBU Minimum weight Title.
This fight has been brewing for the past year and began with Stephanie
calling out Kristina on a Hungarian boxing forum. The fight was made and
cancelled about three times. Very low purse amounts were offered, which
leaned toward the ridiculous, when you consider the two would be fighting
for a world title---But finally a deal was made and the contracts are
signed.
"This is the right fight for me. It is at the perfect weight and I have
plenty of time to get ready. All I need are fair judges and nothing will
stop me from bringing home this title" said Stephanie Dobbs.
WBAN had also listed the Belinszsky-Dobbs
fight on the Matchmaker's HOT LIST as a bout that should be made. With
the combination of the "grudge" and the talent of these boxers, it should
make a very exciting match!
