On August 30, 2008, undefeated WIBF –
WBA world champion Susi “Killer Queen” Kentikian will headline a
Spotlight Boxing show in Düsseldorf , Germany, when she fights Hagar
Finer [Shmoulefeld] of Tel Aviv, Israel. Kentikian will be defending
her two titles. The event will begin at 6:30 pm with the live TV
broadcast on ProSieben at 10:30 pm. Kentikian was quoted on the
Universum website as saying the following: "We know Hagar Finer
well. She boxed against Regina Halmich in her farewell fight - and
also Alesia Graf and Julia Sahin didn't have it easy with her - and
during the last two years she has clearly improved. After two quick
knockouts I was lucky to have a longer break that has allowed me to
recover properly. Now I'm hot for this next fight."
Regina Halmich and Jan Stecker will be ringside commentators. The
boxing event will also feature Vitali Tajbert and middleweight
Sebastian Zbik.

There will be two women’s bouts on a
boxing card at the Hotel Meliá, in Colon, Panama. The bouts will be
on the undercard, that will feature Carolina Montenegro vs. Abigail
Billiards in a four-round bout at 108 lbs. Also, Laura Ledesma will
face Natalí Dongirama in a four-round bout at 111 lbs. The card is
promoted by Team Q’ Promotions.
Manuel Perea, the spokesman for Team Q’ Promotions said that besides
the excellent matchup between Irving Berry vs. Ramiro Lara in a
10-rounder at 126 lbs. Also, they will have Xavier Cordova vs.
Carlos Acosta in a four rounder at 122 lbs.
