Magazine World Championship belts. Esparza handed the former WBO
World Champion of Buenos Aires, Argentina, Gabriela Alaniz, 14-1-0 (6KO), her first
professional loss in the ring in the ten-rounder. Esparza
won the bout by a majority decision with the final judges scores
as 99-91, 95-95, 97-93.
