August 31, 2011 - Cancha Futbol Rapido, Tanganhuato, Guerrero, Mexico
Featherweight Magaly Martinez De La Vega won a four-round split decision over Esther Polanco, pro debut.

August 29, 2011 - Sportova hala MSO, Šturovo, Slovakia
Super middleweight Zita Zatyko, of Hungary, won by a third round TKO over Borbala Kocsis, also from Hungary.  The bout was scheduled for eight rounds.

August 28, 2011 - Yomiuri Bunka Hall, Toyonaka, Osaka, Japan
Strawweight Momoko Kanda won by a four-round unanimous decision over Nahoko Tanaka; Bantamweight Miki Kikukawa won a six-round unanimous decision over Kai Johnson;  Strawweight Masae Akitaya won by a second round TKO over Krikanok Islandmuaythai in a scheduled eight round bout;  Super flyweight Mari Inamoto won by a six-round unanimous decision over Yokfah Sitkhrusin, pro debuter;  Super bantamweight Saki Yamada won by a four-round split decision over Kimika Miyoshi; Bantamweight Asako Tonarii won by a second round TKO over Saithonglek Sor Tammajak, pro debut.  The bout was scheduled for four rounds; Super flyweight Maho Tamamori won by a first round TKO over Akina Takemoto, pro debut. The fight was scheduled for four rounds;  Strawweight Kiyoka Mori won by a fourth round TKO over Wakana Yamamoto in a scheduled four rounder; and lastly, super flyweight Tamao Ozawa won a four-rounder by majority decision over Maimuang Sitkhurusian, pro debut. 

August 28, 2011 -  Plaza de Toros, in Tlaxcala, Mexico
There were four women's bouts on the card. In one bout flyweight Mariana Juarez, 112, won by a 10-round unanimous decision over Asami Shikasho. Juarez was defending her WBC Flyweight title; in a second bout, Zulina Munoz, 117½, won by a second KO over Verena Crespo, 112½. The two were fighting for the WBC Silver bantamweight title. Again, Munoz gets a questionable opponent for fight for a belt. In the third bout, Ana Arrazola, 105, won by an eight round unanimous decision over Cuca Jimenez, 107. In the fourth bout, Esmeralda Moreno stopped her opponent, Linda Sanchez in the seventh round, in a scheduled 10 round bout.

Bantamweight Debora Anahi Dionicius won by a sixth round TKO over Anahi Salles.  The fight was scheduled for six rounds.  Junior welterweight Ana Laura Esteche won a four-round split decision over Paula Morales.

show titled "Night of Titles" at the Southport RSL Club in Southport, Queensland, (Australia time zone) Nadine Brown, 133¾, now 2-0, with having a (reported) past amateur record of 15 bouts, won a six-round majority decision over Sarah O'Connell, 132½.  Both women fight out of Queensland, Australia. Light welterweight Brenda Rodriguez win by a unanimous decision over previously unbeaten Jackie Breitenstein.

August 25, 2011-  Takapuna Rugby Football Club, in Northcote, New Zealand
Michelle Preston
, 122, had a six-round technical draw Nicky Bigwood, 124½. Preston had sustained a knee injury and the fight was technical stopped.

August 25, 2011 - Fantastic Casino, 24 de Diciembre, Panama
Flyweight Maribela Smith, 115,  won a four-round split decision over Doris Asprilla, 116. Final judges scores were 39-37, 39-37, and 37-39.  In a featherweight bout Migdalia Asprilla, 130, by a first round TKO over Osiris Renteria, 130. The fight was scheduled for four rounds.

August 20, 2011 - Ce.De.M. N° 1, Caseros, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Featherweight Daniela Romina Bermudez, 121,  won a six-round majority decision over Soledad Edith Matthysse, 122½. Final judges scores were 57½-57½, 57½-58½, and 57-58½.

August 20, 2011 - Gimnasio Club Mexico, Santiago de Chile, Chile
Bantamweight Carolina Rodriguez, 118½ , won a six-round unanimous decision over Maria Roman, 116¾.  Final judges scores were 60-56, 60-55, and 60-55.

August 20, 2011 - Manzanillo, Colima, Mexico
Kaliesha "Wild Wild" West won a 10-round unanimous decision over Jessica Villafranca. West was defending her WBO Bantamweight (118) lb. World Title.  Final judges scores were 97-95, 99-91, 96-94. In a second world title bout, Arely Mucino successfully defended her IBF Flyweight title when she won by a 10-round unanimous decision over Susana Vazquez.  Final judges scores were 98-92, 96-94, 97-93. August 20, 2011 - Kursaal, Berne, Switzerland
Super flyweight Aniya Seki, 114¾, won a 10-round unanimous decision over unranked Natascha Guthier. The two were fighting for the GBU super flyweight title. Tale of the tape: Seki is ranked #12 as a super flyweight. Guthier is not ranked with Boxrec. Seki ranked #4 with GBU, Guthier not ranked with GBU.  Scores, 100-90, 98-92, 100-91.

August 19, 2011 - Pristav pri Kompe, in Šturovo, Slovakia, Bantamweight Renata Szebeledi, 118, stopped Gabriella Vicze, 117.5, (1:17) in the second round, of a 10 round bout. In another match, Claudia Ferenci fought Szabina Kiss (4 rd) was a no decision and probably an exhibition.

August 19, 2011 - Renaissance Worthington Hotel, Fort Worth, Texas
Featherweight Jennifer Han, of El Paso, won a four-round unanimous decision over Lisa Lamb, of Fort Worth. Final judges scores were 40-36, 40-36 and 40-36. Fight report by Dave McKee

Ronica Jeffrey

In a featherweight six; Sainumdoi Pitaklo-Ngen went to 10-1-1 with a points victory over Kaenpetch Manoprungrui 0-2.

Super featherweight Agota Ilko TKO'd Gabriella Roman in the first round of a four-round scheduled bout.

won by a third round TKO over Sriphrae Nongkipahuyuth, in a scheduled eight round bout.

August 13, 2011 - Convention Center, Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico
Featherweight Ivonne Munoz won a six-round unanimous decision over Miriam Avila.  Both fighters from Mexico.

August 13, 2011, at the Deportivo Tlalli, in Tlalnepantla, México, Ibeth Zamora Silva, 22 years old, of Mexico, 108, fought unrated Yacksury Gordon, 28 years old, 108, in the defense of her WBC Youth female light flyweight title. Silva won by a third round TKO over Silva.  In their WBC youth rules they state, "At the discretion of the World Boxing Council Youth Committee, a current Youth Champion will be allowed to defend his title against a qualified opponent over the age of 22 years/11 months in the champion’s weight class. If the champion is victorious he retains the title and the fight will count as a title defense. If he is defeated the title will be declared vacant. (This rule is an exception to the general rules for the “superstar” fighter and will not be applied on a regular basis.

On the "Clash in the Rockies, The New Generation" card, there In the mainliner, Layla McCarter, 138.8, won by an eight-round unanimous decision over Belinda Laracuente. Also, Carla Torres won by unanimous decision  over Britanny Cruz.

August 13, 2011 - Polideportivo Vicente Polimeni, Las Heras, Mendoza, Argentina
Flyweight Carla Weiss, 112, of Mendoza, Argentina, won by a four-round majority decision over Norma Caucota, 115, Buenos Aires,  who is now 0-9-0.  Final judges scores, 39½-38,  38-38, 40-37.

August 12, 2011 - Colombia
In a local Colombian female boxing duel Paulina "Baby" Cardona (19-9-4, 7 KOs) won a 10-round unanimous decision over Dayana Cordero (6-1-0, 5 KOs) and claim the vacant UBC World super bantamweight title in the main event of the boxing card that was promoted by  Jesus Agresott Wharf on Friday night, August 12th at the Las Vegas Center Entertainment in Barranquilla city, Colombia.

, 139, TKO'd Kransak Nontaburee, 138, in the third round.

August 7, 2011 -  Huixtla, Mexico
Jessica Villafranca, 121, TKO6 Maria Jimenez, 122.  Also, Susana Cruz Perez, 108, won an eight round unanimous decision over Laura Sanchez,110. Lastly, Cristina Serrano, 104, won a four-round unanimous decision over Ibeth Rosales, 105.

Erica Farias Tech.Dec. 8 Ann Marie Saccurato light WBC Light.  Also, Mayra Gomez won a four-round unanimous decision over v Alejandra Zamora.
