Terri Harper, born on November 2, 1996, in Denaby Main. She was raised in Yorkshire.  She entered the world of boxing when she was only 12 years old.  She was an accomplished amateur boxer before turning pro in 2017.  It is reported in Wiki that she had 17 amateur bouts, winning three national tiles and a silver medal at the European Junior Championships in Poland.

In a summary of some of her last few fights, she has fought the following.

On September 24, 2022, at the Nottingham Arena, Nottingham, Harper,153¼, won a ten-round unanimous decision over Hannah Rankin, 152, for the IBO and the WBA Super Welterweight world titles. Final judges scores were 98-92, 97-93, and 98-92.

On March 12, 2022, at the Nottingham Arena, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, United Kingdom, Harper, 134 1/4, won a ten-round unanimous decision over Yamila Belen Abellaneda, 133 1/4. The two were fighting for the WBA Inter-Continental Lightweight belt. Final Judges scores were 99-91 on all judges scores.

On November 13, 2021, at the Sheffield Arena, Sheffield, UK, Alycia Baumgardner became the WBC/IBO Junior Lightweight world champion with a crushing fourth round stoppage over reigning and previously undefeated champion Terri Harper at The Sheffield Arena in Sheffield, England.  Baumgardner, who came in as a big underdog at more than 7 to 1, hurt Harper in round two with some hard right hands.  In round four, Baumgardner landed a big right hand that stunned and froze Harper. Harper was basically motionless on her feet. Baumgardner jumped in and landed one more powerful left hook just as referee Mark Lyson was stopping the fight just 23 seconds into the round. Full Story

On November 14, 2020 -  SSE Arena, in Wembley, United Kingdom, in a great night for women's boxing on a Matchroom Boxing card, in what was reported as the "first female triple-header in the United Kingdom in boxing history" and streamed on Sky Sports, DAZN, at the SSE Arena, in Wembley for boxing fans to be treated to  three fantastic matchups of women's boxing.  In the mainliner, Katie Taylor, now 18-0 (6KO),  faced Miriam Gutierrezl  The fight is a unification defense of Taylor's WBA, IBF, WBC, WBO Lightweight titles.  Taylor won all ten rounds with an impressive 100-99, 100-90 and 99-91, and easily outclassed Gutierrez in last night's world title unification bout.  Gutierrez suffered her first loss as a professional boxer, and is now 13-1-0; In a second female bout, Rachel Ball, finally got her shot to go for a interim WBC world title belt taking on Jorgelina Guanini,  for the vacant WBA Bantamweight title. Ball won by ten round unanimous decision; and  a third female bout on the card, Denaby’s Terri Harper (11-0-1, 6 KOs) faces her first WBC Mandatory challenger in Spanish-Norwegian Katharina Thanderz, now (13-1, 2 KOs). On August 7, 2020 - Matchroom Fight Camp, Brentwood, Essex, United Kingdom, In an exciting, all-action title bout,  Harper, 129¼. now 10--0-1 (5KO), of Yorkshire, United Kingdom, had a 10-round split draw with Natasha Jonas, 129, of Liverpool, Merseyside, United Kingdom.   The final scores were 94-96, 95-95, and 96-95.   Harper was defending her WBC and IBO Super Featherweight titles. 

On February 8, 2020 - Sheffied Arena, UK, Harper won the WBC super-featherweight title winning a ten-round bout by an unanimous decision over Eva Wahlstrom.  As news sources on the net said, "Harper is only Great Britain's second major female world champion, following the recently retired Nicola Adams, who was the WBO world flyweight champion."
