5'4" Bantamweight Priscilla "Gata" Trompowsky was born in Rio de Janeiro Brazil on March 11, 1981. She came to Canada as a child with her family, and now lives in Toronto, Ontario.

Her first introduction to the ring was with kickboxing. She trained on and off for about 3 years, but never really developed any passion for the sport. Frustrated, she made the switch to boxing.

She fell in love with the sport almost immediately. Two years later, with 13 amateur bouts under her belt, she decided to turn pro.

Priscilla had her pro debut on September 27, 2008, in Brampton Ontario. She won a four round unanimous decision over a tough opponent named Bernadette Hume. [Photo Gallery #491] [All photos by Durell Wambolt]

Her second bout was on December 27 2008. She ended up losing a four round unanimous decision against Rochelle Okoye, pro debut.

Priscilla trains out of the Atlas Boxing Gym in Toronto. She fights anywhere between 119lbs to 125lbs. She is willing to travel, and will take fights on short notice.

On May 30, 2009, Priscilla battled hard for four rounds against a very game Kara McLeod in Brantford Ontario.  She didn't get the win, but the fight was very close and she felt good about her performance. The girls ended up
getting "fight of the night" honors.

September 2, 2009, Priscilla fought a four rounder in Syracuse, New York, against Jackie Trivilino. Priscilla gave a valiant effort for four tough rounds, but was not able to fully execute her game plan against a much larger and more powerful opponent. She ended up losing a majority decision.

Priscilla is looking at getting back in the ring this Spring. (May/June) She will be fighting at 117lbs-122lbs.
