Carley told WBAN, "After
a successful amateur experience, I set out on a professional career
in early 2006. My ultimate goal is to become a world champion in
multiple weight classes. Furthermore, I hope that my determination
and commitment will inspire other female’s to work hard at whatever
they do and never give in. Aside from boxing; I am continuing my
studies toward a second degree in Sports Management.
With this at
hand, I'll remain committed to sharing my passion and knowledge with
those who surround me. Throughout my life thus far, I've been
inspired by so many great people. My greatest is of course, my
family, who've supported me through the good, the bad and the many
"I-told-you-so's"; and also my friends, who have watched me grow,
helped me to succeed and lifted me to my feet. I can only hope they
realize the gratitude and appreciation I have for each of them."
