Yokasta Valle to Face Seniesa Estrada in  Undisputed Minimumweight World title bout!

(FEB 1) On March 29, 2024, on ESPN+ in at the Desert Diamond Arena, in Glendale, Arizona, Yokasta Valle, 30-2-0 (9KO), of Costa Rica, will be facing Seniesa “Super Bad” Estrada, undefeated as a pro with a 25-0-0 (KO) record, of East Los Angeles, California, in a ten-round world championship bout promoted by Top Rank. The two are vying for the undisputed minimumweight title, fighting for the IBF, WBA, WBC, and WBO belt, in a co-feature event on the card.

This is definitely a highly-anticipated matchup with Estrada vs. Valle, both have impressive boxing records, and are very respected with their speed and technical skills in the boxing ring. Great matchups as these will definitely showcase women’s boxing at it’s highest level.

Estrada, known for her power and aggressive fighting style has definitely been proven through her past fights as a professional. Valle, is known for her slick footwork and defensive skills.

Valle said in the media, “I am over the moon that Seniesa finally said yes to this big fight. In reality, she had no other option because we chased after her so much. She had no alternative but to face me because the great fans of this sport demanded this fight. Boxing fans can expect a great fight. Once I get into the ring, I am going to give the performance of a lifetime.”

Valle last fought on November 4, 2023, when she won by a ten-round unanimous decision over Anabel Ortiz, where she was defending her IBF and WBO Minimumweight world title belts.

Valle's victory over Ortiz solidified her position as one of the top fighters in the Minimumweight division. She has proven herself to be a force to be reckoned with in the ring.

Estrada, last fought on July 28, 2023, when she won by a ten-round unanimous decision over Leonela Paola Yudica where she was fighting for the WBC, and WBA Minimumweight world title belts.

Estrada's victory over Yudica showcased her technical prowess and ability to adapt to different styles. She has established herself as a dominant force in the Minimumweight division.

The upcoming fight between Valle and Estrada promises to be an electrifying clash between two highly skilled fighters at the top of their game. Fans can expect a display of skill, strategy, and heart as these two champions step into the ring.
