(JAN 24, 2024) I took an amazing journey to Bremerton, Washington yesterday and met up with Oliver Fennell, a writer/editor from Wales, and spending time with Oliver and Trailblazer Pioneer female boxer Margaret McGregor, who fought in 1999, in Seattle, Washington where she fought a male boxer on a huge card, that drew International Media from all over the world.

I was able to talk with her about the one of a kind fight at the time----and other female bouts she fought in. Margaret is truly an amazing person and it was wonderful to see her after 24 years.

Oliver is writing a book on Margaret and came all the way from Wales to spend time with her in preparation of the book he is writing on Margaret.

Margaret will be at our International Women's Boxing Hall of Fame in April of 2025! Stay tune ---way more to come on this fascinating trailblazer in the sport!!
