(JAN 7, 2024) WBAN is excited to announce that former world champion Chevelle "Fist of Steel" Hallback, 33-9-2 (13KO), returns to the ring on Saturday, March 2nd to fight for the NBA World Welterweight Title belt. The fight is scheduled to take place at the Downtown Hilton Hotel in Tampa, Florida, and will be presented by the Legendary Alessi Promotions and sanctioned by the Florida Athletic Commission.   Her opponent is TBD and will be announced soon.

Hallback is an amazing boxer that has left many historical footprints in the sport.  In June of 2008, Hallback fought for the history-first WBAN P4P world title belt, along with the IFBA's federation belt televised on television, winning it when she defeated Jeannine Garside in a catch weight with both Hallback and Garside being #1 in their perspective weight class.

Just this last year on October 6, 2023, Hallback was honored at the International Women's Boxing Hall of Fame for hitting her 26 year mark of fighting as a professional boxer.

Hallback has been featured in countless televised fights, fighting many of the best in the sport throughout the years of her boxing career.  She is among one of the most recognized female boxers in the world.
