In our non-boxer and pioneer category we have the following:
Jill Diamond Chastain, who has served, without compensation, as
the International Secretary of the World Boxing Council and
International Chair of WBC Cares.
She was the recipient of NY’s Ring 8’s 2011 Humanitarian Award
and was recently appointed to the USA Mental Health Task Force,
guided by Congresswoman Grace Napolitano, and more; Bruce Silverglade, who has been busy keeping one of boxing’s grandest
traditions alive. He is the driving force behind Gleason’s Gym
in Brooklyn, a boxing treasure since 1937; Dallas Malloy, the
first ever amateur female boxer who took the USA Boxing to task
to compete in the history-first amateur bout. Malloy was denied
an application by USA Boxing due to being female. She sued and
U.S. District Judge Barbara Rothstein allowed her to box by
granting a preliminary injunction in October 1993, USA Boxing
lifted its ban on women's boxing later in 1993.

We will not only be celebrating our IWBHF 2023 Recipients but
we are inviting our 2024 IWBHF Inductees in this huge gala event
for women’s boxing, in one of the most special years for the
IWBHF and our WBAN, that celebrates their 25 year Anniversary!
