(JULY 23)  Moscow, Russia --Multi-world champion, Cecilia "The First Lady" Braekhus, (34-0, 9 KO’s), of Oslo, Norway won a ten-round unanimous decision on Saturday night over WBC Interim Junior Middleweight Champion Inna ‘The Ice Queen’ Sagaydakovskya, (7-0-1, 3 KO’s) at the Olympic Stadium in Moscow, Russia. Scores were 98-92, 98-92 and 97-93.

With the renowned Johnathon Banks in her corner, Braekhus worked behind an excellent jab to land power shots with both hands at will in a dominating performance throughout the fight. The victory impressed the fight fans in Moscow where she was fighting for the first time.

"I'm very happy with my performance," Braekhus said. "I did what I wanted to do in the ring and what we worked on in camp. I've been treated very well here in Moscow, and it was a pleasure fighting here."

Braekhus vs. Sagaydakovskya was featured on the undercard to the World Boxing Super Series Cruiserweight Unification Final won by Oleksandr Usyk over Murat Gassiev.

Braekhus has held all of the sanctioning body world titles in the welterweight division since defeating Ivana Habazin in September 2014. On May 5, 2018, she made history becoming the first female fighter to appear on HBO in their 45-years of televising boxing. Her 10-round decision over Kali Reis from the iconic Stubhub Center in Carson, CA averaged an extraordinary 904,000 viewers in the live telecast on HBO.
