Cool Story of the Week: The Serrano Sisters Honored in Beautiful Mural in their Bushwick Neighborhood!
by Sue TL Fox
July 24, 2017

(JULY 24) There was a very exciting, surprising, and high honor for world champions Amanda "The Real Deal" Serrano and Cindy "Checkmate" Serrano.  The two came back recently from Puerto Rico yesterday to see a beautiful Mural of the two!

Amanda Serrano said to WBAN, "I just came back from Puerto Rico yesterday to be honored with a Beautiful Mural of myself and Cindy. It's in our Bushwick neighborhood where we were raised. The Murals on Harmon St. and Knickerbocker Avenue."

"We currently still own our house in the area.. It's so nice to know they are proud of us. To have the only World Champion Boxing Siblings is a big thing for them and they wanted to let us know.

"We are grateful, honored and Appreciate this gift whole heartedly. Thank you Bushwick!," added Serrano.
