Cool Story of the week: Amanda "The Real Deal" Serrano donates her WBO 118 lb. World Title to the Sports Museum
June 24, 2017

(JUNE 24)  WBAN's top pick for "Cool Story of the Week" Features Amanda "The Real Deal" Serrano, 32-1-1 (24 KO), from Brooklyn, New York, born in Puerto Rick, and a multi-world champion, including our WBAN world title holder.  This week she donated her WBO World title belt to the Sports Museum.

Serrano said, "So that's my Latest World Title Belt that I donated to the Sports Museum out in my Island of Puerto Rico. My WBO 118 lb. World Title that I won in my last fight Stopping Dahiana Santana. I promised them I'll exchange it for my 140 lb. Title that I'll win between year end or early 2018! it's a Promise. Let's Get It!"

More on Amanda Serrano made history for WBAN earlier this year in 2017:  In  January of 2017, at the Barclay Center in Brooklyn, New York, Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano won a 10-round unanimous decision against Yazmin Rivas where she was defending her  Junior Featherweight WBO world title, in addition for the WBC Diamond belt, and the WBAN Independent belt, making a history-first for WBAN in the state of New York.
