(APR 4) Tonight at Four Points Sheraton Hotel, in San Diego,
California, there are two women's bouts on the professional boxing card in the
Boxing at its
Best San Diego Fights, promoted by Bobby D Presents. The fights
begin at 7:30 p.m.
In the main event, Kenia Enriquez, of Tijuana,
Mexico, 10-0 (5KO), 107.5, will be face Jolene
Blackshear, of San Diego, 8-4 (3KO), 107 lbs. The two will be for the vacant NABF Junior Flyweight title.
In the co-main, super
welterweights David Barragan, of San Diego,
7-0-1 (3KO), 153, will fight Eddie Cordova,
Clearfield, Utah, 4-5-1 (1KO)154, in a four rounder.

On the undercard, in another great matchup of women’s boxing,
Amaris “Diamond Girl” Quintana, San Diego, 6-2-2 (1KO), will be
going to battle with New Yorker Susan Reno, 1-1-1 (0KO). Both
weighed in at 108 lbs.on the scales yesterday and will be
fighting six rounds, junior flyweight division.
In a men’s bout, Adrian Vargas, 145, National City,
California, 142, 7-0-1 (5KO), will take on Luis Cervante,
Cathedral City, 7-6-3 (2KO). The
two will be fighting four rounds in the lightweight division.
Lastly, Mario Angeles, San Diego, 1-4-1
(0KO), will fight Jarrod Tennant, Los Angeles, 2-0. Angeles
weighed 146 and Tennant, 151. The two will fight four rounds in
the light middleweight division.
WBAN and HBN will be ringside to cover Friday’s boxing show.
