Headlining the Beautiful Brawlers III is USA Olympian and
beloved icon from Seattle, Washington, 132 lbs Queen Underwood,
who came two months ago from the Continentals in Venezuela
wearing the champions gold medal. Underwood will box a local
favorite and 2013 Adidas National Champion Stalacia Leggett.
They will be the Main Event at the Spectacular all-female
amateur championship boxing card: Beautiful Brawlers III.
Underwood is the only boxer in the amateur history that has put
four times best boxer of the world from Ireland, Katie Taylor to
her knees in a bout that rocked the 2010 Women's World
Championships in Barbados. Bout rated the best of the world.
Beautiful Brawlers III is set to make history by having the
"Most
Prestigious" female boxers participating in the show, and the
card is stacked with champions from 9 years old to 35 years old
who are traveling from all over the United States chasing their
dreams of a Beautiful Brawlers Championship Title. Amateur
National Champions and Olympic Hopefuls : Tatiana Almaraz, Casey
Morton, Becky Villagren, Dalia Valenzuela, Ariana Garcia, Lupe
Gutierrez, Melissa Monroy, Osalys Camacho, Selena Hernandez,
Roxy Garcia, Iris Contreras, Charday Johnson, , Heaven Garcia,
Marisol Lopez, Jamie Mitchell, Destiny Diaz, Nancy Gutierrez,
Jessica Galvez, Maritsa Guillan, Danika Lara, Claressa
Hernandez, Destiny Navarro, Samantha Torres, Leila Gtierrez,
Siagigi Hintsatake, Beyonce Garcia, more will all take part in
this all female affair.
Beautiful Brawlers is organized by former and current boxers and
friends, "Three Amigas" Blanca Gutierrez, Eliza Olson and Martha
Salazar..
"When we accomplish the first card in 2011, we had big dreams
for females and aspiration for a positive change, in the male
dominated sport of boxing," said Blanca Gutierrez, owner of
Babyface Boxing Gym home to Beautiful Brawlers.
"Each boxer in our show knows she will be fighting the best in
her division, keeping true to our philosophy having the “Best
Box the Best”," said Eliza Olson, former lightweight champion."
"Sue Fox from WBAN will be handing out awards for the first time
ever on an amateur card. "Having WBAN supporting us is
spectacular," says Salazar, and knowing that we have support
with our movement of bringing female boxing to the forefront is
very important to us."
Former long time Promoter and
ESPN radio host, Jerry Hoffman who has been an huge supporter of
the Beautiful Brawlers will once again join our team as our
official ring announcer and he will also be covering our show.
