(FEB 18) Yesterday in a gym in Oxnard, California, Crystal Morales prepares for her upcoming fight with none other than world champion Mia "The Knockout" St. John.

Morales will be traveling up into WBAN's territory, when she fights at the Little Creek Casino Resort, in Shelton, Washington, next Saturday, February 23rd, when she faces Tammie "The Tasmanian Devil" Johnson.  The two will be fighting six rounds in the lightweight division.   WBAN will be ringside to cover this event next week.

By the way---speaking of St. John---To give a quick "up-to-date" on the Knockout!

Da Vinci Films is currently producing a full length feature documentary on St John. WBAN has been told that the documentary is due to be released by 2014, and it will be showcased at film festivals and geared towards introducing St. John to a new audience who is unfamiliar with women's boxing. The feature will detail St. John's personal life and her struggles, as well, as training for her upcoming fight.  WBAN will keep tabs on the documentary and give updates ever-so-often!

A special thanks to photographer Jason Simmons who allowed WBAN to publish his photos with this story.
