Marcos Wins by a Decision over Julaton
March 17, 2012

(MAR 17) Last night at the Teatro Griego Juan Pablo Segundo, in Mendoza, Argentina, Yesica Marcos, 120¾, won a 10-round unanimous decision over Ana Julaton, 122. Marcos, who still remains undefeated with a 19-0 (6KO) record, challenged Julaton for the WBO super bantamweight title. The two fought in front of 27,000 plus boxing fans, and the fight was televised on Tyc Sports.  Final judges score of the fight was 98-91, 96-92, and 98-92 all in favor for Marcos.

Viewing the fight on video, the fight was a solid action-packed bout between two very skillful female boxers, and they represented the sport well last night in front of a tremendous audience, both at the venue and on television.

To Julaton...you have proven to be a warrior in this fight.  Not only putting your belt on the line, but going in sharks waters, in another country against an undefeated fighter, heavily favored in that area---hats off to you.

Also, just viewing the boxing record of Marcos and where she has fought----it WOULD definitely be refreshing to see Marcos take a bit of a chance and go outside of Argentina to fight---all nineteen of her wins comes from not only her own country, but 18 out of the 19 are where she is from---in her hometown of Mendoza.

For boxing fans....you can view the whole fight on the link that we have provided.
