(AUG 22) WBAN received an open
letter from one of the top boxers from Canada, Sandy Tsagouris.
Sandy wrote the following:
Dear Sue Fox and Everyone
at WBAN
Hi all, just wanted to take a moment and... finally comment on
my fight in Korea. I do believe that I wasn’t given a fair
opportunity. I would be ok with the outcome, well as much as I
can be... if they actually showed my fight and have the world
decide for themselves. I was told that if I lose it will be
shown nationally in Korea 6 times and never again if I won! But
obviously they have decided to basically act as if the fight
never even existed. Oh well I take every experience in boxing
and learn from them. Boxing is a part of my life and always will
be so I won’t let a little "BS" like Korea and Germany stand
in my way of becoming a world champ!
On a brighter note.... I am 4 1/2 months pregnant and thought it
would only be right to let all you at WBAN know first. You have
always spoken so highly and supported me through my boxing
career. Although I am pregnant this will not be the end of Lil
Tyson. This just seemed like the perfect opportunity for me to
have a child so that I can come back stronger and have even more
to fight for.
Myself and Billy will keep you posted with training pictures and
videos.
For all those featherweights who think they are safe watch out
cause 9 months goes quickly...
Sincerely,
Sandy Tsagouris
