Latest Update on Keisher McLeod-Wells
August 4, 2011

(AUG 4)  WBAN received a nice update on Keisher McLeod-Wells.   First off, Keisher is featured in the "Sister 2 Sister" Magazine (August Issue) today.

The feature is on pages 56-57, and the full story line is "Who Do She Think She Is?" section.  Keisher said, "I feel very honored to be recognized in such an established and wonderful magazine, that mostly cover Afro American celebrities. Special thanks to Craig Spruill who reached out to me and conducted the interview ."

Keisher went on to say something about her last fight against Melissa McMorrow.

Keisher said, "Just as I share my success with my friends, family, and fans, I would like to share the stumbles I come across also in my career too. I did not win my fight this past Saturday for the NY State Championship. I lost to a very close split decision to a re-match against Melissa McMorrow (defending champion). We are now 1-1 with one another and the final re-match is in negotiation now. Thanks to everyone who has been very supportive of my career."  Keisher added this:

I wanted to share this quote with everyone. "It's not how many times I fall down in life that define me, it's how many times I get up that do”.
