(OCT 15) Tonight in Icheon City,
South Korea, there will be two IFBA world title bouts on the card.
In the first bout, Jolene Blackshear, of the United States will be
facing Dan-Bi Kim. The two will fight for the vacant IFBA mini-fly
title.
In a second bout, and in the main
event Lisa Brown, of the United States will take on Hyo-Min Kim,
of South Korea, for the vacant IFBA featherweight title.
Yesterday the weigh-in was held
in Songdo Park, Korea. Dan-Bi Kim weighed in at 47.3 kg and her
opponent Joelene Blackshear at 46.7 kg. Also, Hyo-min Kim came
in at 57 kg as did her opponent Lisa Brown. The two fights will
be televised.
