(OCT 1) A disappointment of Dakota Stone of the United States....Stone travelled to Trinidad to fight Giselle Salandy, of Trinidad. They had the weigh-in on September 29th, and was to fight today. Stone weighed in at 154, and Salandy, 150.
 

Ryan Wissow of the WIBA, emailed us and told us that the fight was cancelled at the very last minute. He said that Salandy failed her physical, the day of the fight.  Apparently they did not give her a physical at the weigh-in.

Ryan said that the boxing fans were not happy about the situation, and that Giselle had gone center ring to apologize to the fans.  At that time Giselle said that she was not scared of Stone.

Ryan said, "That was when Stone stormed into the ring and got in Gisselle's face, and they had to be physically separated. The ringside consensus was that Salandy 'chickened out' --it was an ugly scene."
