PROVIDENCE PRESS CONFERENCE QUOTES & OFFICIAL WEIGHTS
PRESSER QUOTES
Joey "KO Kid" Spina: "This is my belt. I take it everywhere I go. When I
go to the gym, it's in my bag; it's with me whenever I leave my house.
I've seen Oshana fight on TV. He's rugged, durable and stays right in
front. A lot of punches are going to be thrown."
Anwar Oshana: "Tomorrow night you're going to see one of the best fights
seen in a long time."
Matt Godfrey: "Willie comes to fight every time. I thank him a lot for
coming from Florida to fight me in my backyard. I can't tell you what
you're going to see because I don't want to give anything away. We will
leave it all in the ring. Expect to see a great night of boxing."
Willie Herring: "Tomorrow you're going to see a great fight. I'm quite
sure Matt Godfrey trained hard and has dreamed about this like I have.
I've traveled a long way to get here and I know what I'm up against."
Jaime Clampitt: "I'm in great shape and I'm ready to go. I'm bringing
the world title back to Rhode Island."
Shelby Walker: "I want to thank Jimmy Burchfield and my promoter, Howard
Davis, Jr., who brings so much to the table for me. I respect him so
much. I plan on putting on a very good show tomorrow night."
