(AUG 15) On September
2, 3, and 4, 2005, there will be the 2005 Texas Female Championship held
at the R.D. Evans Community Center, at 3200 Lackland Road, Ft. Worth,
Texas 76116.
USA Boxing Athlete USA BOXING ATHLETE PASSBOOKS SHOULD BE
HAND-CARRIED BY EACH BOXER NO BOOK, NO BOX.
Athlete Participant Female boxers who are at least 9 years old and older
and are registered for the 2005-year under USA Boxing are eligible.
USA Boxing Each tournament participant, i.e. boxers, coaches,
Membership: officials, physicians, etc., must be registered with USA
Boxing for the 2005 membership year and have proof of registration (i.e.
pink copy of registration form, USA Boxing membership card, USA Boxing
passbook).
Draw & Bracketing: The draw will be conducted Friday, September 2,2005
at 2pm. The attendance of all Coach’s is advised to do matched bouts for
females who are unopposed.
Conduct & Discipline: Each Coach is responsible for the conduct and
discipline of his/her team members. Individuals deemed guilty of
misconduct will be immediately barred from all tournament !
Trial Scales: Trial scales will be available.
Weights and Women’s – 95#*, 101#, 106#, 110#, 114#, 119#, 125#, 132#,
138#, 145#, 154#, 165#, 176#, 189#, +189#* (women’s divisions). Four-two
minute rounds will be used. BANT & JR’s 3-1 Min, INT 3-1 ½,Sr’s3-2 min
rounds
Weigh-ins and Weigh ins will be Friday September 2 at Green Oaks Hotel
9-12, and 8am both Saturday and Sunday. Each boxer must satisfactorily
complete weigh-ins and physicals each day that he competes.
Equipment: Southwestern Association will provide gloves. All other
items, i.e. headgear, foul-proof cups, form-fitted mouthpieces,
competition uniforms, sponges, water bottles, etc., must be provided by
the participants. NOTE: Boxers must wear headgear made to USA
Boxing's specifications (Refer to USA Boxing's official rulebook).
Entry Fee: The entry fee is $5.00 per participant. The Entry fee is non
