(AUG 7) Tonight in Rimini, Italy, Stefania Bianchini, 13-2-0 (2KO), will
be facing Britain’s Cathy Brown, 12-6-0 (5 K0), to fight for the vacant
WBC flyweight title.
This will be a rematch for the two, when they fought previously for the
EBU (European Flyweight title, where Bianchini was defending that title.
Bianchini, from Italy, is excited about making history when she fights
for this title against Brown, and she told news sources that she is
hoping that this will raise the profile of women’s boxing in Italy. |
