Lisa "Bad News" Brown Joins Rock & Sock Productions

Lisa
Brown
has signed an exclusive promotional agreement with “A Ring of Their Own”
promoters Rock & Sock Productions.
Brown, (11-1-2, 4 KO’s) just claimed a victory over Kelli
Cofer
on June 18 in Edmonton, Alberta on an “A Ring of Their
Own” card. Lisa is an exciting addition to the talented fighters already
under contract to Rock & Sock, including
Asa Sandell and
Elena "Baby
Doll" Reid.
“I am looking forward to a bright future with
Rock & Sock Productions and
working with the people affiliated with them. I am very excited,” Lisa said
Monday from her hometown of Toronto. “It will be a good thing to fight in
the “A Ring of Their Own” series because we need the recognition to tell the
world that women can also do what men do.”
“Ken Weiss and I are looking forward to having Lisa on board. She’s a
versatile fighter who comes ready to do her job, and her enthusiasm is
contagious,” Rock & Sock promoter Arnie “Tokyo” Rosenthal stated. “We
believe Lisa is the best in several weight classes and we’ll give her the
opportunity to prove it.”
Lisa’s next Rock & Sock fight will come later this fall in the next
installment of the “A Ring of Their Own” series. She will also be featured
in “A Ring of Their Own’s” first pay per view show November 19th.
“A Ring of Their Own” is the only all women’s boxing series. It is produced
monthly and distributed to over 30 million TV households in the US and
