Hearns to make comeback, with son Ronald Hearns, and Mary Jo Sanders!
(JULY 2) Yesterday a press conference was held at the Pontchartrain Hotel in
downtown Detroit, in regards to the upcoming card on July 30, 2005,
that will be held at Cobo Hall, in Detroit, Michigan. The event is being
promoted by First Round Productions.
Thomas “The Hitman” Hearns, 46 years old, will be making a "comeback" along
with his son, Ronald Hearns, 26 years old, (6-0, 4 KOs), who
will also be on the card.
Ronald is thrilled to fight on the same card as his father, and told local
news media, "This will be a sight to see, a total blessing for me to
fighting the same night as my dad."
Also, on the card will feature Mary Jo "KO" Sanders, who will be fighting
for a WBC title. Opponent to be announced soon.
