Layla McCarter to fight twice in less
than one week!

June 5, 2005(JUN 5) It
will be a very busy week for Layla McCarter when she takes on two fights in
less than one week.
First, McCarter will return June 18th, on the All-Women's Boxing Card in
Edmonton, Canada, to fight Jelena Mrdjenovich, in a rematch for the two.
McCarter defeated Mrdjenovich, in their first fight by a six-round unanimous
decision---This was Mrdjenovich's hometown.
Then, on June 24th, Layla will fight for the IBA world title, when she takes
on Holly Holm, which will be a 10-round title fight when Holm defends her
belt. |
