IFBA Champions Make Weight
and Look Forward to Title Defenses in China

(MAR 29) With all three IFBA World Champions making weight (
Maribel Zurita 110, Mariana Juarez 115, and Kwang Ok Kim at
1171/2), along with their three opponents, 200 invited guesses
attended the press conference and weigh-ins in Shenyang, China
on Tuesday, March 29.
With 20 ft. banners hanging in the background and fans and
fighters representing China, North Korea, South Korea, Mexico,
United States and Japan the fighters where truly part on an
international women's boxing event never before seen in the
professional ranks.
Joining the promoters, sponsors and representatives from IFBA,
where the Deputy Consul-General from South Korea to China,
members of the Chinese Sports Agency, along with the Minister of
Sport from The Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea.
