Crazy Matchmaking!

(MAR 3) On March 5, 2005 in Rio Negro, Argentina, Patricia
Alejandra Quirico, 7-3-0, will fight yet another pro debuter,
Carina De Sousa. Quirico JUST fought "another" pro debuter on
December 11, 2004, four months after fighting for a WIBA world title against
Yolis Marrugo Franco, who ultimately beat Quirico for the for that
vacant belt.
But you know what is CRAZIER? ALL of
Quirico's wins are against boxers who never had a win, or a fight, for the
exception of one of the newcomer's who fought Quirico in a rematch and lost
again. According to boxrec, Quirico's opponents generally came in with an 0-0-0
record. In fact, Quirico has never defeated a boxer who had a win on
their record.
REALLY makes one wonder how this boxer would be fighting for ANY title
belt, continental or world title. She jumps from a world title
fight, to fighting two pro debuters....crazy CRAZY matchmaking!
