MAIN EVENT
HECTOR CAMACHO, JR vs MORTEZE LOGAN
10 ROUNDS, WELTERWEIGHTS, 147 POUNDS
Camacho is based out of Miami, Florida and Puerto Rico. He sports a 37-1
record with 21 knockouts. He is the former light welterweight NABA champion
and son of 4 time world champion, Hector “Macho” Camacho. Marteze Logan
sports a record of 14 wins against 8 losses and is from Covington,
Tennessee. Nicknamed “Too Sweet” Logan could be a very live threat to
Camacho having traveled 8 rounds with a common opponent of Camacho’s, Jesse
James Leija, while losing his last fight against tough world contender,
Victoria Sosa, in a very close decision over 10 rounds. Logan, a very live
underdog.
CARLETTE EWELL vs VALERIE MAHFOOD
10 ROUNDS, IBA CONTINENTAL AMERICAS LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP, 175
POUNDS
This is a rematch from February of this year where Mahfood took a split
decision victory over Ewell in Beaumont, Mahfood’s hometown. Mahfood’s
record is 16-7-1 (8 KO) while Ewell is 6-2 (5 KO). Interesting fight. Could
be a barn-burner in neutral territory with a title on the line.
BOBBY AUCOIN vs BILLY RAY GATES
6 ROUNDS, LIGHTWEIGHTS, 135 POUNDS
This is a big test for Aucoin who takes his undefeated record (12-0 with 6
KO) on the line against the hard punching Gates from Mobile, Alabama who
carries 9 victories with 8 early knockouts all in 3 rounds or less. Aucoin
has kept busy having four fights in five months while Gates is looking to
make a name against the undefeated Scott, Louisiana native. Aucoin brings
with him a huge following of 2 to 3 thousand fans to cheer him on! Aucoin’s
dad, Bobby Sr., is preparing his son, “The Bayou Bomber” to increase his
record to 13-0 and remain undefeated. This fight will bring Aucoin up the
ratings as a lightweight.
KASHA CHAMBLIN vs DANA KENDRICK
4 ROUNDS, FEMALES, FEATHERWEIGHTS, 126 POUNDS
Talk about a step up in class. Chamblin, from Lafayette, LA (1-0 with 1 KO)
is facing a knockout artist and much more experienced fighter in Kendrick,
from Hattisburg, Mississippi (7-1 with 5 KO) who can flat out punch! Don’t
go to get a drink for this one! Both fighters come charging forward!
CLIFTON RUBIN vs WADE LEWIS
6 ROUND, HEAVYWEIGHTS
Rubin, from Welsh, LA, now living in Houston, TX, is the only son-in-law of
Big George Foreman. Rubin sports a 7-1 record with 7 big knockouts. Lewis,
from Tuscaloosa, Alabama carries a record of 12 wins against 10 losses.
Don’t let the losses fool you. Lewis comes in with 10 big knockouts in his
12 wins and holds the distinction of being in the ring with Shannon Briggs,
Dominick Guinn, Audley Harrison, and Andre Purlette , all world-ranked
heavyweights. This one will not go the distance. You will see knockdowns and
probably a knockout. Nothing technical here! Just two big men looking to win
by KO. |
