May 31, 2013 -Shaw Conference Centre, in Edmonton, Canada
Jelena Mrdjenovich won by the score cards after the sixth round due to she received some type of cut or injury, that halted the bout with Melissa Hernandez.  Mrdjenovich won by a sixth round TD, and the WBC Featherweight Title belt.  SCORE CARDS:  57-56, 58-56, 58-55.  On the Undercard, Vanessa Bradford won a four-round unanimous decision over Brandy Badry.   more details soon   Weights: Mrdjenovich, 126.4, Hernandez, 123. Badry, 134.8, Bradford, 133.2.

May 31, 2013 - Gimnasio Pedro Estremador, San Carlos de Bariloche, Rio Negro, Argentina
Super featherweight  "La Cobrita" Natalia Vanesa Aguirre, an unorthodox southpaw, make to be a very hard target for Bustos.  She won the bout by a six-round split decision over Victoria Bustos raising her boxing record to 4-1-2. 

May 31, 2013 - San Antero, Columbia
Ana Lozano 6(5)-0 remained undefeated as she TKOed helpless Jenifer Perez 0-7(5) in the third round of their super bantam six rounder. *A ridiculous matchup for sure.
 

May 31, 2013 -  In Rio Negro, Argentina
Daniela Romina Bermudez, now 14-2-2 (4KO), stopped her opponent in the FIRST round by TKO.  She fought Neisi Torres, now 8-1-1, who's PAST OPPONENTS had ALL losing records.  Boxrec had Torres rated #47, Bermundez rated #7 before the fight.

In a four round flyweight bout, debuting Zuliana Mendoza won a unanimous decision over Luiciel Quiel.

May 31, 2013 - Mansfield Tavern, Mansfield, Queensland, Australia
Lightweight Sabrina Ostowari won a six-round bout by a unanimous decision over Narelle Leahey.

May 28, 2013 -Convention Towers and Exhibition Center, Hong Kong, China
Momo Koseki, now 16-2-1 (4KO), of Tokyo, Japan, won by a sixth round TKO over Eun-Young Huh, now 6-2-1, of Guri City, South Korea. The fight was scheduled for 10th round in defense of her WBC atomweight title.

May 26, 2013 - Sportova hala MSO, Šturovo, Slovakia
Light welterweight Gina Chamie, now 1-0-0, won a six-rounder by a unanimous decision over Dalia Vasarhelyi, now 4-3-0. In a second female bout on the card, Rita Kenessey won by a second round TKO over Gabriella Bohoni, pro debut.  The fight was scheduled for four rounds.

May 25, 2013 - Domo De La Feria, Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico
Super flyweight Zulina Munoz, 114, won by a fourth round TKO over  Soledad Macedo, 114,  for the WBC super flyweight title.

May 25, 2013 - Olymp, Volgodonsk, Russia
The World Boxing Federation crowned two new champions as Niki Adler won the vacant Womens World Super Middleweight title in Russia, and Enes Zecirevic captured the vacant International Super Middleweight crown in Switzerland. In a rematch of their original 2011 encounter...Full Story

Yohanna Belen Alfonso won a four-rounder by points over Sonia Edith Paladino.  In a second female bout, Leonela Paola Yudica Andino had a four-round draw with Soledad del Valle Frias.

May 25, 2013 - Salle Rosselo, Thuir, Pyrénées-Orientales, France
Super featherweight Angelique Duchemin won a six-rounder by points over Cynthia Godbillon.

May 24, 2013- Casino Hipodromo Agua Caliente, Tijuana, California Mexico, Brenda Flores, 113½, won a four-round unanimous decision over Sandra Robles, 113½. Both fight out of Tijuana.  Also, Maureen Shea, now 20-2-0, fought a 1-4-0 boxer, Alma De La Cruz, in a six rounder, winning for a unanimous decision.  Not bad for Cruz, who came in the the fight with a "1-4" win record.

May 24, 2013 -Buenos Aires, Argentina
Sabrina Perez, now 10-0-1 (2KO), of Buenos Aires, fought to a 10-round split draw against Carolina Duer, 14-3-1 (5KO).  Both boxers fight out of Argentina.  The two both walked away without the vacant WBO bantamweight title b
elt!  In another female bout, Jesica Cabrera and Yessika Munoz fought to a draw in a four-rounder!

May 24, 2013 - Westchester County Center, White Plains, New York
Story by Bernie McCoy:  Ronica Jeffrey won the IWBF Super featherweight title with a decisive ten round decision over Olivia Gerula Friday night at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, NY. The bout was Diane Lee Fishcher-Cristiano's (Dee Lee Promotions) initial foray into the New York metropolitan area and the female bout topped a seven bout card that heralded boxing's return to the historic County Center after several years absence. After Jeffrey and Gerula traded the opening two rounds, the new champion seemed to shift into a different gear in the third stanza. Jeffrey's fast hands got faster, her in and out movement got quicker, and her ring speed kept her away from courageous attempts by Gerula to slow down the new champion with counterpunching tactics. For the next eight rounds, each two minute stanza took on a mirror like pattern: Jeffrey constantly moving around the ring, suddenly, quickly closing on Gerula, landing head and body shots and just as quickly, moving out of Gerula's punching range. Gerula, to her credit maintained a dogged pressure on Jeffrey throughout those eight rounds, and, at times, managed to force the new champion to the ropes or a corner, taking the opportunity to land an overhand left hook or right cross, but the game effort fell short...Full Story

Flyweight Abigail Villar, 105, won an eight-round unanimous decision over Noriela Paz, 95.5.  The bwo were fighting for the WBC Latino flyweight title. Final judges scores 79-73, 78-74, and 77-75. In a second female bout, Carlota Santos, 108, had a four-round majority draw with Janeth Asprilla, 106.5.  Final judges scores were 38-38, 38-38, and 39-37.

May 19, 2013 - Big Wave in Wakayama, Japan
Go Shindo, of Japan, won by a 10-round unanimous decision over Renata Szebeledi. Judges final scores were 100-90 on all cards.

May, 18, 2013 - Paranaque City Philippines
Jessebelle Pagaduan won a majority decision over Lady Love Sampiton in a four rounder in the strawweight division.

May, 18, 2013 - Broadbeach, Austrailia
Lisa Maria Vizaniri  won a unanimous decision over debuting Victoria Nansen in a heavyweight six rounder.

May, 18, 2013 - Horneburg, Germany
Klara Svensson won a first round TKO over Helena Tosnerova.

May 17, 2013 -  Sofia Bulgaria
Super featherweight Galina Gumliiska won a four round split decision over Kremina Petkova.

May 17, 2013 - Barrio La Paz, Via Publica, Barranquilla, Colombia
Super bantamweight Ana Maria Lozano, of  Tachira, Venezuela, remained undefeated when she won by a sixth round KO over her opponent Glenis Varona.  She is now 5-0 (4KO).  The fight was scheduled for eight rounds.
Lozano said, "I would like to thank Mr. Aguilar President INVESTMENTS Edwuard OMIGROUP for their support and collaboration that gave me the opportunity to fight in Barranquilla. I prepared very hard and gave it 100% to prepare for this fight."

May 17, 2013 -  Lincoln, Rhode Island
Shelly Vincent, 121.5,  9-0 won the WIBA International bantamweight title with a ten round unanimous decision over recent replacement opponent Angel Gladney, 121.5.

Featherweight Cecilia Sofia Mena won a first round TKO over Romina Mariela Arias in a scheduled four round bout..

May 17, 2013 - Arena Adolfo López Mateos, in Tlalnepantla, México Nancy "Chatita"  Franco, now 10-5-2 (4KO), won a unanimous decision over Ana Arrazola, 17-9-2  (13KO), of Guadalajara, Mexico. The two were fighting for the vacant strawweight world title.

May 16, 2013 -  Houston, Texas
Jennifer Scott won a four round unanimous decision over Angel Ford.

May 15, 2013 - Giant Hall, Casino Conti, Saint Petersburg, Russia
Light flyweight Evgeniya Zablotskaya, of Saint Petersburg, won a four-round unanimous decision over  Ksenia Maximova, pro debut.

May 11, 2013 - Route 66 Casino Hotel, Albuquerque, New Mexico
As reported on NewMexicoBoxing.com, they reported that in Albuquerque, NM, Holly Holm, 139.2,  (33-2-3, 9 KO’s) ended her boxing career with a clear unanimous decision win and retained her IBA and WBF light welterweight titles against Gary, Indiana’s Mary McGee, 137, (20-2, 11 KO’s) with scores of 100-90 on all three judges cards in the Fresquez Productions main event.

May 11, 2013 -  San Miguelito, Panama
In a four round flyweight contest, Luiciel Quiel remained undefeated with a second round TKO over debuting Zuseth Hoyte.

May 11, 2013 - Coliseo Mario de León, Cerete, Colombia
Junior welterweight  Lely Luz Florez wins by a first round TKO over Yessica Perez.  The fight was scheduled for eight rounds.  In a second bout, featherweight Francis Bravo won a six-round unanimous decision over Maria Miranda.

May 11, 2013 - Hoengseong-Gun, South Korea
Yoon-Joo Shin won a 10-round unanimous decision over Napaporn Superchamps. The two were fighting for the WIBA Super Flyweight title.

May 11, 2013 -  Deportivo Agustín Ramos Millan, Toluca, México
Ava "Lady of Boxing" Knight, now 12-1-3 (5KO), won a 10-round unanimous decision over Linda Soto, 5-3-0 (3KO). The two were fighting for the WBC Silver flyweight Title. In a second female bout, Brenda Olvera, had a four-round draw with Rocio Castillo. Both Olvera and Castillo fight out of Mexico.

May 10, 2013 - Auditorio Presidente Néstor Kirchner, Mercado Central, Tapiales, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Marcela Acuna, now 38-6-1 (17KO), of Buenos Aires, won by a 10-round unanimous decision over Edith Soledad Matthysse, 10-5-1 (1KO), of Trelew, Argentina. The fight was apparently a non-title bout.

May 10, 2013 -Santiago Del Estero, Santiago del Estero, Argentina
Featherweight  Valeria Gramajo won a four-round unanimous decision over Noelia Gutierrez.

May 10, 2013 - Masonic Temple, Detroit, Michigan
Amanda Cooper, pro debut, won by a third round TKO over Mara Marquez.  The fight was scheduled in four rounds.

May 10, 2013 - Coliseo Carlos 'Teo' Cruz, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic
Super featherweight Cindy Serrano won a first round KO over Grecia Nova in a 10-round scheduled bout.

May 10, 2013 - Centro Recreativo Tacasuam, Monteria, Colombia
 
Johen Paola Gonzalez won an eight-round unanimous decision over Paulina Cardona.  Final judges scores 79-73, 79-73, and 80-72. Monteria, Columbia where welterweight Yarley Cuadrado 2(2)-0 won by third round TKO (in a four rounder) against Consuelo Paternina 0-10(1).

May 8, 2013 -Seoul, South Korea
WBC featherweight champ Hylin-Me Choi defended her title with a ten round unanimous decision over Shannon O'Connell. 

May 4, 2013 - Multiversum, in Schwechat, Austria
Eva "The Golden Baby" Voraberger, of Vienna, Austria, won a 10-round unanimous decision over Polina Pencheva, of Razgrad, Bulgaria.  The two were fighting for the vacant WIBF Flyweight Title.  Judges scores were 92-99, 92-99, 91-98.  In a second bout,  Doris Koehler won a six-round unanimous decision over Galina Gumliiska.

May 4, 2013 - Biosphaere, Potsdam, Brandenburg, Germany
Lightweight Natalia Smirnova won by first round TKO over Pavlina Votanova, pro debut.

May 4, 2013 - SAP-Arena, Mannheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany

Super flyweight Jorgelina Veloso won by a third round TD over Belen Silva, in a scheduled four round bout.  Also, Monica Acosta won by a fourth round RTD over Darys Pardo.  The fight was scheduled for 10 rounds.
