Super lightweight Chika Mizutani, 139, TKOed Muaylek Kor Narong Service, 136, from Thai in the firstt round of a scheduled six-rounder. Mizutani moved her record to 13-3-0 (6 KO). Muaylek fell to 7-2-0 (2 KO).  WBAN has attached a link to the video of the bout.

October 30, 2012 - Gimnasio Joan Guzman, Guachupita, Dominican Republic
Super featherweight Wanda Pena Ozuna, 130, won a four-round unanimous decision over Rocio De Leon, 129½.

October 30, 2012 -  Manila, Philippines
Carleans Rivas
and Luzminda Guido fought to a four round flyweight majority draw.

October 28, 2012 - Danjin, South Korea
In a super bantam six rounder, Jin-Ju Shin KOed a hopelessly over matched Thai boxer Petchnaree Sor Tantong in the second round.

October 28, 2012 - Furukawa Gymnasium, in Miyagi, Japan
Naoko Fujioka
won a unanimous 10-round decision over Victoria Argueta from Mexico, by scores of 99-90, 98-90 and 98-90 in Fujioka's successful WBC mini flyweight (105lbs) title defense.  In the semi-finals of this event, Fujin Raika TKOed Bas Sor Tammajak from Thai
in the 2nd round of a scheduled eight-rounder at 60kg catch weight.

Claudia Gutierrez upset Jennifer Han with a split decision win in a four round super featherweight bout.

Raja Amasheh remained undefeated by winning a ten round unanimous decision in a non title flyweight bout against Fleis Djendji.

October 27, 2012 - Estadio Polideportivo Juan Domingo Ribosqui, Maipú, Mendoza, Argentina
Carla Romina Weiss
, 110¼, won a six-rounder by unanimous decision over Marta Soledad Juncos, 110¼.  Final judges scores  59-56, 60-55½, and 59-55.

October 27, 2012 - Auditorio Municipal de Benito Juárez, Tepeji del Rio, Hidalgo, Mexico
Martha Morales
, 117, pro debut, won by a four-round unanimous decision over Liliana Cob, 118, pro debut. Judges scores, 39-37, 39-38,  39-37.  In a second female bout, Jazmin Cervantes,  107, won by a third round TKO over Dulce Martinez, 106¾. Both were making their pro debut.

October 27, 2012 - Chetumal, Mexico
Arely Valente, 112,  won the vacant WBC youth flyweight title with a six round [1:23] TKO over Liliana Ordonez, 112.

October 27, 2012 - Palais du Midi, Bruxelles, Belgium
Sanae Jah
, 112¾, won by a sixth round [1:00] KO over Isabelle Leonardi, 109¼, in a scheduled eight round bout.

Promoted by  Chavez-Crespin Promotions, with the attendance of 800 boxing fans there were three female bouts on the card.

, moved her record to 18-2-1 (8KO), when she stopped Liliana Palmera, in the 7th round [0:23] by TKO. The two were fighting a 10-rounder for the interim WBA featherweight title.

Renata "Barbie Girl"  Szebeledi
won by a third round TKO over Simoni Galassi, for the interim WBC flyweight title.    Szebeledi won by a third round TKO over Simoni Galassi, for the interim WBC flyweight title.  This is the first bout for Galassi to lose by being stopped. In the first round Galassi
was knocked down. 

October 26, 2012 -  Tecnópolis, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Carolina Raquel Duer
, 114¾,  won a 10-round unanimous decision over Marisa Johanna Portillo, 115. Duer won the WBO super flyweight title.

October 25, 2012 -  Las Pulgas, in Tijuana, Mexico
There was an all-female card.  In the mainliner, Joselyn Ruiz,110¼,  won by a second round TKO over Yadira Trejo, 110¼.  The fight was scheduled for 10-rounds, for the vacant NABF flyweight title.  In a scheduled four round bout, flyweight Kenia Enriquez won by a second round TKO over Carol Castro Madrid; Flyweight Brenda Flores,110¼, making her pro debut won a four-round split decision over Paloma Lopez, 110¼; bantamweight Sandra Robles, 116½, pro debut, won a four-round unanimous decision over Kealoni Vanderleest, 117¼; bantamweight Angelica Dominguez won a four-round unanimous decision over Abigail Casteneda; and light flyweight Jolene Blackshear made it a short night by stopping her opponent, Lili Barajas, in the first round by TKO in a scheduled four round bout.

Bantamweight, Shannon O'Connell TKOed Pimchanok Ruamwong 0-5(5) in the third round of their scheduled four round bout.

October 24, 2012 -  Roseland Ballroom, in New York, New York
Heather Hardy
, 124, won her second pro bout, of Brooklyn, New York,  by a four-round unanimous decision over Unique Harris, 120, in her pro debut.

October 21, 2012 - Sportova hala MSO, Šturovo, Slovakia
Super flyweight Claudia Ferenci, of Slovakia, won a four-round unanimous decision over Anita Kosics, of Zalaszentgrot, Hungary.  In another female bout light welterweight Veronika Hornyak won a six-round by unanimous decision over Rita Kenessey.'

October 20, 2012 - Moncton Lions Club, in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada
Annie Mazerolle
, of News Brunswick, Canada, who was making her pro debut, stopped Monique Duval, in the second round of a four-round bout.  Duval, of Ontario, Canada,  falls to 0-7-0 with this recent loss.

October 20, 2012 - Estadio Luna Park, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Celeste Peralta
, 139, won a four-round unanimous decision over Katia Alvarino, 140.

October 20, 2012 - Lusaka, Zambia
Bantamweight Catherine Phiri won a ten round decision over Nathalie Forget.

October 20, 2012 - The Trusts Stadium, Auckland, New Zealand
Sarah Howett, 145.5, won a six-rounder by unanimous decision over Arlene Blencowe.   

October 20, 2012 - Salle Schmitt, Sedan, Ardennes, France
Anne Sophie Da Costa of France won the vacant World Boxing Federation Women’s World Strawweight title on Saturday night (October 20), when she defeated Thailand’s former World Champion Teeraporn Pannimit at the Salle Schmitt in Sedan, Ardennes, France.  Rather disappointingly Pannimit failed to make weight and therefore couldn't win title, and the visitor did appear much bigger than Da Costa. Early on it looked like she might be able to use that advantage to overpower her opponent, but after the first three rounds Da Costa managed to use good movement and footwork to avoid the pressure and score with quick combinations.

Super featherweight Lissette Medel, 128¾, now 8-1-1, of Maywood, California,  won a six-round unanimous decision over  Cynthia Munoz, 132,  6-2-0 (3KO), of Mexico City, Mexico.

October 19, 2012 - Coliseo Elias Chewing, Barranquilla, Colombia
Diana Ayala
, 123, won by a second round TKO [1:53] over Yessica Perez, 124. The bout was scheduled for eight rounds.

October 19, 2012 -  Coliseo Bernardo Caraballo, Cartagena, Colombia
In a super bantam six rounder Johen Paola Gonzales won a majority decision over late substitute Maria Andrea Miranda.

October 19, 2012 - Palasport V.le Tiziano, Rome, Lazio, Italy
Lightweight Monica Gentili, pro debut, won a four-rounder by points over Daniela De Musso.

October 19, 2012 - Restauracja Adria, Pałac Ballestremow, ul. Wolności 1, Ruda Slaska, Poland
Super bantamweight Karina Kopinska, 123½, won a four-round unanimous decision over Hana Horakova. In another bout, welterweight Anna Sikora won a four-round unanimous decision over Alexandra Gorog.

October 19, 2012 - Civic Center, Kissimmee, Florida
Melissa McMorrow
, now 8-3-3, won by a ninth round TKO over  Yahaira Martinez, in McMorrow's
first defense of her WBO belt.  Martinez has not fought since 2008,  with her last two fights in 2008, losing in 10-rounders...Why this would be a title fight, only the WBO knows for sure, along with the promoter.

October 19, 2012 - Albert Park Field, San Rafael, California
Super featherweight Marquita Lee, won a four-round unanimous decision over Lisa Lopez; in another bout; and Laura Deanovic won by points over Claudia Amaro.

October 18, 2012 - Twin River Event Center, Lincoln, Rhode Island
Bantamweight Michelle Vincent won a four-round unanimous decision over Ivana Coleman.

October 14, 2012 - Gold Coast Turf Club, Bundall, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia
Jasmin Ward
, had a split eight-round draw with Julie Gaston.  The two were fighting for a local Australian super bantamweight title.  In another bout Lauryn Eagle won by a third round TKO over Jenny Cavanagh. The fight was scheduled for six rounds.

October 14, 2012 - Escola Dom Hermeto, Uruguaiana, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil
Bantamweight Daiane Ribeiro won by a second round TKO over Fernanda Dos Santos, pro debut.  The fight was scheduled for six rounds.

October 13, 2012 -  Brandenburg, Germany
In a WIBF world light welterweight title bout, Angel McKenzie lost her tenth bout in a row,  by decision against Marie Reiderer. McKenzie has not had one win since April of 2010.She is now 4-28-0.  Is there any title belt that the WIBF will NOT sanction?

In a scheduled six round flyweight contest, Kanittha Kokietgym scored a second round TKO over debuting Yakkao Sor Suthep.

October 13, 2012 - Tepeji del Rio, Mexico
Abigail Ramos
  scored a fourth round TKO over previously undefeated Magaly Martinez de la Vega in a four round flyweight contest.

October 13, 2012 - Walter Sisulu University, Butterworth, Eastern Cape, South Africa
Welterweight Rita Mrwebi won a 10-round unanimous decision over  Mapule Ngubane for a local South Africa title.  According to the online news source SOWETAN, after the bout, Mrwebi and her opponent wept uncontrollably minutes after their fight ended for the South African welterweight title contest. It turned out that they both wept due to both feeling like they gave a poor performance. Judges scores: Alan Matakane (98-94), Siya Vabaza (96-95) and Lulama Mtya (98-94)for Mrwebi.

October 13, 2012 - Fairmont Southampton Hotel, in Bermuda
Teresa Perozzi
and Tori Nelson fought to a majority Draw in what was described as a "Great Fight" with no knockdowns.  Perozzi retained her WBA title, and the WBC title remains vacant.  Scores:  95-95, 95-95,  and 98-93.
In another female bout  Jennifer Salinas won by a six round unanimous decision over Karen Dulin. All final judges scores were 60-54.

October 13, 2012 - Palacio de Deporte, in Mexico City, Mexico
Ava Knight
, 111, won by a 10-round unanimous decision over Mariana "Barbie" Juarez, 112. Knight won the "Diamond" WBC World Flyweight championship title.  Final judges scores were: 97-93, 97-93, and 96-94.

October 13, 2012 - Estadio Aldo Cantoni, San Juan, Argentina
Leonela Paola Yudica Andino
, 110.8, won by a four-round majority decision over Alejandra Maria de Lujan Rios, 110.

October 12, 2012 - Sporthalle, Wandsbek, Hamburg, Germany
Featherweight Ina Menzer, 125½, of Germany, won by a second round TKO over Renata Domsodi, 123¾, of Budapest, Hungary. The two were fighting for the vacant WBO European featherweight title. Menzer ranked #6 and Domsodi is ranked #28 with Boxrec.

October 11, 2012 -   Remington Park, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
In what was described as a "slubfest" Nikki Burleson, of Oklahoma City, OK, won a four-round unanimous decisoin over Chelsea Collarelli, of Amarillo, Texas. 

October 10, 2012 - Ginasio Esportivo, Sao Vicente, in Sao Paulo, Brazil  Simone Da Silva Duarte, now 11-3-0 (4KO), defeated a newcomer in the sport Alina Lobo, pro debut, by a RTD in the third round.  The fight was scheduled for six rounds.  (Could this have been a mismatch perhaps?....). Both boxers are from Brazil.

October 6, 2012 - Club Atlético Saavedra, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Lightweight Monica Elisabeth Galeano, 138¾,  won a four-round unanimous decision over Carina Maria Britos, 136¾.

October 6, 2012 - Kultursaal Liezen, Liezen, Austria
Denise Schuschko-Linke
, 126¾,  of Graz, Austria, won a four-rounder by points, over Erika Nemeth, 130½, of Baia Mare, Romania.

October 6, 2012 - Nayarit, Mexico
Janeth Perez
17-0-2 won a unanimous ten round decision over Tenkai Tsunami 18(7)-5 in their WBA bantamweight title bout.

October 6, 2012 -Finish Line Sports Grill, Pomona, California
Report: In the main event, which turned out to the "Fight of the Night" Kaliesha "Wild Wild" West, 122, of Moreno Valley, California, won a 10-round unanimous decision over Christina Ruiz, 120.8, of San Antonio, Texas. The fight was an action-packed toe-to-toe battle with Ruiz, being the heavy-handed puncher, and  West displaying speed and effectively body punching throughout the fight.   Final judges scores were 99-91, 100-90, and 100-90. West improved her record to 16-1-3 (4KO), and Ruiz is now 6-5-2 (4KO).  [Retired world champion, Kim "Fireball" Messer, acted as the supervisor for the IFBA over the West-Ruiz championship bout.]  On the undercard in a another female bout, Blanca Raymundo, 111.8, won her first pro fight out of seven losses by a four-round unanimous decision  over Katarina de la Cruz, 112. The bout had some exciting moments, with Raymundo at one point, getting a cut on her forehead from an accidental head butt. Final judges scores were 39-37, 39-37, and 40-36. Full Story with photos

Yesica Marcos, 122,
 won by a sixth round TKO over Dayana Cordero,
121¼.  The fight was scheduled for 10 rounds.  The two were fighting for the vacant WBA super bantamweight title, and Marchos was defending her WBO super bantamweight title.  In another female bout, Betiana Patricia Vinas won by a fourth round KO over Marisa Gabriela Nunez. The fight was scheduled for six rounds.

October 5, 2012 - Alvik Gamla Tryckeriet, in Stockholm, Sweden
Junior middleweight Mikaela Lauren, now 17-2-0  (6KO) won a six-rounder over Eva Halasi, now 10-6-0 (9KO), of Senta, Serbia. The two were fighting from some local six-round title bout belts.

October 5, 2012 -  Cologne, Germany
Aminah Barakat won a points victory over Dana Belin Majchzak in a lightweight four rounder. It was the pro debut for both women.

October 5, 2012- Auditorio Presidente Néstor Kirchner, Mercado Central, in Buenos Aires, Argentina
Claudia Lopez
, 129¼,  won a 10-round unanimous decision over Maria Maderma, 129½. The two were fighting for the vacant IBF super featherweight title. Final scores: 98-92, 97-92, 97-92.  In a second bout, Carolina Rodriguez won a four-round unanimous decision over Alejandra Morales.

October 2, 2012 - Gimnasio Joan Guzman, Guachupita, Dominican Republic
