Maria Pejakovic won the WBF super middleweight title over Edita Lesnik with a ten round unanimous decision.

December 29, 2012 - Club Social y Cultural El Cruce, in Buenos Aires, Argentina
"La Monita" Ana Laura Esteche, now 7-2-1 (2KO),  of San Martin, Argentina, won by a 10-round unanimous decision over Maria Eugenia Lopez,  6-5-2 (0KO), of Buenos Aires, Argentina.  The two were fighting for the
 interim (FAB) lightweight title. 

December 29, 2012 -  Osaka, Japan
Two four round bouts. Light flyweight Kei Takenaka won a first round TKO over Kenzan Riho. Minimumweight Rumiko Hamamoto won a unanimous decision over Yukiko Hashimoto.

December 28, 2012 - PalaRuffini, Torino, Piemonte, Italy
Super flyweight Loredana Piazza won by a second round TKO over Marianna Gulyas.  The bout was scheduled for six rounds.

December 26, 2012 - Salon Marsella, Huixtla, Chiapas, Mexico
In an eight round super flyweight bout, Guadalupe Martinez, 115, scored a sixth round TKO [1:42] over Roxana Alanis, 114. In a minimum weight eight rounder, Yesenia Martinez Castrejon, 105¼, won a unanimous decision over Elizabeth Guadarrama, 103½.  Final judges scores were 79-73, 78-74, and 79-73; and in a four round minimum weight bout, Christina Serrano, 103½,  won an unanimous decision over debuting Gabriela Contreras, 103½.  Final judges scores were 40-36, 39-37, and 39-37.

December 26, 2012 - Kursaal, Berne, Switzerland
Aniya Seki
, 114¾, of Berne, won a 10-round unanimous decision over Oksana Romanova, 113¼, of Kiev, Ukraine. The two were fighting for the vacant WBC Silver super flyweight, and WIBF super flyweight titles.  The final judges scores were 94-98, 93-97, and 93-100.

December 26, 2012 - Bologna, Emilia Romagna, Italy
Just a day after Christmas on December 26th, in  super flyweight Elga "Iron" Comastri, now 2-0-0 (1KO), of Emilia Romagna, won a six-rounder by points over Alexandra Gorog, of Dunaföldvár, Hungary. No other details at this time. Photo off of Facebook of Comastri.

December 22, 2012 -  Club Sportivo America, Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina
Alejandra Marina Olivera
s, 126, now 28-2-2 (14KO), of Santa Fe, Argentina, won by a fourth round TKO over Paulina Cordona, 125¾, 20-13-5 (8KO), of Barranquilla, Colombia. The two were fighting for the WBO Featherweight title; in another women's bout, Victoria Noelia Bustos, 130, won a six-rounder by unanimous decision over Paula Andrea Morales, 130¾. Final judges scores were 59½-56½, 60-53, and 60-53½. In a third match, Daniela Romina Bermudez, 118¾, won  a six-round unanimous decision over Anahi Yolanda Salles, 122; In a fourth female bout, Vanesa Lorena Taborda, 115, making her pro debut, won a four-round unanimous decision over Soledad del Valle Frias, 115.  Final Scores were 40-37½,   40-37½, and 40-38.

December 22, 2012 -  La Garenne, Charleroi, Hainaut, Belgium
Featherweight Djemilla Gontaruk, 125¾, of Charleroi, Hainaut, Belgium won a four-round unanimous decision over Claudia Ferenci, 125¾, of Šturovo, Slovakia. Final judges scores were 40-37, on all cards.

December 22, 2012 - de Salle des trois fontaines, Reims, Marne, France
Hometowner Anne Sophie Da Costa, still undefeated at 15-0-0 (7KO),  made it a short night when she stopped Bettina Granasi, now 5-6-0 (1KO) of Szeged, Hungary,  in the second round of a scheduled eight round bout.

December 21, 2012 - Broadbeach, Australia
Heavyweight Lisa Marie Vizaniari TKO'd debut boxer and late replacement Linda Eliason in the first round of a scheduled eight.

December 21, 2012 - Club Universitario, La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Carolina Duer
, now 14-3-0 (5KO) defeated Marcela Acuna, 37-6-0 (17KO) in a 10-round unanimous decision. There was no mention if this was a title bout or not. Both boxers fight out of Argentina.

In a four round lightweight bout, Ariel Beck won a unanimous decision over DJ Morrison.

December 21, 2012 - Club Defensores de Villa Lujan, San Miguel, Tucuman, Argentina
Super featherweight Cecilia Mena, 125¾, of Tucuman, won by a second round KO over Nancy Ortiz Zambrano, 129½, of Cochabamba, Bolivia.

December. 21, 2012 - Halle an der Salle, Germany
Turkish light flyweight Oezlem Sahin who has been been training and fighting out of Germany during her pro career, had little trouble demolishing Agnes Draxler, with a second round TKO in a scheduled six rounder.

Lightweight Nadine Brown won a ten round unanimous decision over Xu Chun Yan.

December 19, 2012 - Tijuana, Mexico
Kenia Enriquez won a four round unanimous decision over Brenda Flores.

December 19, 2012  - Roseland Ballroom, in New York, NY, USA
Akima Stocks
, 154, 5-0-0 (3KO), of Newark, New Jersey won her fifth pro bout against Marva Dash, 156, now 0-2-0,  of Bridgeport, Connecticut. Final judges scores were 40-34, 40-34, and 39-35.  The boxing event also had nine male bouts featured on the boxing card.

TKOed debut boxer Kumi Oishi in the first round of a scheduled four.

December 17, 2012 -Tokyo, Japan
Minimumweight Momo Koseki won a ten round unanimous decision over Saemi Hanagata.

December 17, 2012 - Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic
Two IBF title fights. At featherweight, Dahiana Santana won a unanimous decision over Helen Joseph; and at super bantamweight, Katy Wilson Castillo won by fourth round TKO over Maribel Santana.

December 15, 2012 - Seoul, South Korea
Ju-Hee Kim
won over Ploynapa Sakrungrueng from Thai by 10th round TKO in a rematch. Kim defended her WIBA, WIBF, GBU, WBFed, WIBC, UBC, CODA and WBPF light flyweight titles.  According to her manager, Kim's next fight will be held in Las Vegas on next May. Super flyweight, Mariana Juarez won a ten round unanimous decision over Tenkai Tsunami.

Super flyweight, Marisa Johana Portillo 13(2)-6-2 won a unanimous four round decision over previously undefeated Ivonne Anahi Cordoba 10-1-2.

December 15, 2012 -  Perpignan, France
Lightweight, Angelique Duchemin won her debut professional bout in a four rounder with a points victory over Cindy Bonhiver.

December 15, 2012 - Montevideo, Uruguay
Light welterweight, Chris Namus  won a ten round unanimous decison over Lely Luz Florez  and super flyweight Gabriela Bouvier  won a six round unanimous decision over Ely Munoz.

Super flyweight Romina Elizabeth Alcantra won a unanimous four round decision over Yolanda Beatriz Carcoso.

Lightweights, Soledad Capriolo and Natalia Aguiare fought to a four round majority draw.

In a four round minimumweight bout between two debut boxers, Ana Aquilina won a points victory over Nayeli Verde.

In a flyweight six rounder, Alejandra Maria del Lujan Rios won a unanimous decision over Marta Soledad Juncos.

Sabrina Giuliani 10-0 won a unanimous six round light welterweight decision over Gabriella Vicze.

Usanakorn Kokietgym TKOed Li Yun Ting in the third round of their six round bantamweight bout.

December 14, 2012 - Gymnase des Roulants, Cergy-Pontoise, Val-d'Oise, France
Super flyweight Nadia Hokmi won by a second round TKO over Fleis Djenji. The fight was scheduled for six rounds.  In a second female bout Gaelle Amand won a 10-round unanimous decision over Agota Ilko.  Amand won the EBU featherweight world title.

December 12, 2012 - Estadio Luna Park, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Sabrina Maribe Perez, 116¾
, of Isidro Casanova, Buenos Aires, Argentina won the WBA Interim Bantamweight title after she won a 10-round unanimous decision over  holder after winning a unanimous decision over Stefany Bizquiazo, 113¾, of  Canelones, Uruguay.  Bizquiazo was apparently a last-minute opponent for Perez.

December 11, 2012 - Mendoza, Argentina
Betina Vinas vs. Paola Ibarra - WBC Silver featherweight title bout, eight rounds.

In a light welterweight four rouunder, Yuki Sato stopped debuting boxer Petchmanee Janubon (unknown spelling of name) by TKO in the first round.

December 8, 2012 - Resorts World Casino, in Queens, New York
Heather Hardy
, 122,  of Brooklyn, New York, won her third pro fight by decision over Ivana Coleman, 123.5, of Slidell, Louisiana, in a four-rounder. WBAN has been in contact with Hardy, and we will be featuring her in the bio segment soon!

won a four-round unanimous decision over debuting Gabriela Flores. 

December 7, 2012 - Fraserview Centre, Vancouver, Canada
Sarah Pucek
, 124, won a 10-round unanimous decision over Lucia Larcinese, 125¾. Pucek won the vacant Canada featherweight title. Final judges scores were 96-94, 97-93, and 96-94. In a second bout, pro debuter Alisah McPhee, 123¾, won a six-round split decision over Jaime Ward, 128½.

December 8, 2012 - Kingston, Jamaica
Kina Malpartida
won a ten round unanimous decision over late substitute Marylin Hernandez  their WBA super featherweight title match.  In an super bantamweight Interim WBA title fight, Alys Sanchez remained undefeated with a ten round unanimous decision over Maria Elena Villalobos.

Buakaew Onesongchaigym 
won a six round points victory over debuting Petchsirung Sithjapan in a minimum weight bout.

December 7, 2012 - Polideportivo General Paz, Cordoba, Argentina  Cristina Pacheco, 116½, won a four-round unanimous decision over Marta Soledad Juncos, 115. Final judges scores were 39½-38½, 39½-38½, and 39½-37½. Pacheco is now 6-7-2 (1KO), and Junco falls to 4-10-3.

December 7, 2012 - Gymnase Honore et Jean Fleury, Clermont-Ferrand, Puy-de-Dôme, France
Farida El Hadratti
, pro debut, defeated Zsofia Bedo, now 6-27-1 by a third round TKO. The fight was scheduled for six rounds.

December 7, 2012 - Shaw Conference Centre, Edmonton, Canada
Maria Bastasin
, 135,  now 1-1-0, won her first pro fight when she defeated Brandy Badry, 134, of Edmonton, Canada, by a four-round split decision.  The final judges scores were 39-37, 39-37, and 37-39.

December 7, 2012 -  Route 66 Casino/Hotel, Albuquerque, New Mexico
Holly Holm
won a 10-round unanimous decision over Diana Prazak for the IBA/WBF Junior Welterweight belt.  Final score was 100-90.  Also, Mary McGee won a fourth round TKO over Victoria Cisneros, in a scheduled six rounder.

December 02, 2012 - Makati Cinema Square Boxing Arena, Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines
For the vacant WIBA minimumweight title, Gretchen Abaniel, 100,  TKOed Modthanoi Sithsaithong, 97,  in the fourth round of their scheduled ten round bout.

December 1, 2012 - Gimnasio Los Naranjos, Boquete, Panama
In a super bantam ten rounder, Chanttell Martinez, 121,   won a unanimous decision over Migdala Asprilla, 123.  Final judges scoring were 100-93, 98-92, and 97-93.   Also on the card, Carolina Arias, 118,  won a unanimous four round bantamweight decision over Elizabeth Caballero, 116.

December 1, 2012 -Dusseldorf, Germany
Carina Moreno
, 112,  defeated hometowner Susi Kentikian, 111,  in a 10-round split decision!  We do not have all the details but the scores were the following: 96-94, 97-93 in favor of Moreno, and 96-94  for Kentikian.

December 1, 2012 -  Hershey Centre, in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
Natalie "Ms. Too Bad" Brown
